So I get asked all the time if I have "white henna"...the answer to that is yes and no.
Let me explain; since henna is a plant based dye that when applied to the skin it naturally gives off a red/brown stain like the one shown in the pic below.

Jagua henna is darker because the Jagua juice (fruit extract) added to the henna naturally stains the skin with a blue, sometimes almost black color.

To obtain a white design there are a couple of options that I have available to my customers.
Henna-glam is a latex free body paint that comes in a variety of colors. I use it to freestyle designs like I would with henna but it does not stain your skin like henna does. It actually sticks to your skin and can be easily removed by washing or peeling it off. So basically it will only last a couple of days unlike henna that could last a couple of weeks.

2. Non-toxic stick on tattoos are a great option for people who would like something a little more flashy but still henna inspired. These tattoos go on quickly and easily so there's no waiting for the design to dry, you can wear it to the beach, pool or to dress up any outfit. These last 3 to 7 days depending on the location on your body and aftercare. Another great option for white designs but does not stain your skin or last as long as henna. These tattoos also come in a variety of colors and designs.

So in a nutshell...natural henna does not come in different colors - if you see different colors being sold in the stores and labeled as "henna" it is NOT REAL!
